The success of the club depends on the members.
I have had a Stamp Club in varying forms for all of my NINE years of being a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator. I love Clubs and I would say the large number of ladies in my clubs have loved them. This club year my host have had hostess dollars varying from around $20 to $60 plus $ and a half-price. My most successful hostess this year brought in outside orders and hosted another home show during her host month. This increased her sales by leaps and bounds!
What is a club and how does it work?
What: The Stamper’s Club is a group of 6 or less stampers who get together once a month and commit to spending a minimum of $25 each, per month, from the Stampin’ Up! Catalog. If less than 6 people sign up, the minimum purchase required will increase in order to have a minimum total of $150. For example, if there are 6 members, the club will last for 6 months and alternatively, the minimum order required will be $25.00 and so on. Each member will receive the current Stampin’ Up! Catalog, if they do not already have one. Each month a different member will serve as the hostess of the club and will receive all hostess benefits as described in the catalog. Out of 6 to 12 months, each member will choose a month on a “first-come” basis. If you do not have a preference of months, one will be chosen for you.
Who: Anyone who loves to stamp, wants to learn new techniques or is on a budget but wants to build their collection of stamps and accessories.
When: Once a month for 6 or so months to equal members, at a day and time determined by the club members. Each member will choose a month to be a hostess on a “first-come” basis. If you do not have a preference of months, one will be chosen for you.
Where: At my house. I will provide water, tea, & coffee. If you want something else to drink please bring it with you. The hostess will provide snacks & the paper goods to serve them on.
Why: To have fun with others who enjoy the same crafting hobby to share ideas and to build friendships!
Other: Phone, e-mail, and regular mail orders will be accepted. Outside orders that you bring in may be substituted for your personal order, however, you will be responsible for the collection of payment. During your month as hostess, you may bring in additional outside orders to maximize your benefits. Again, you are responsible for collection of payment. Minimum sales must total $150 before shipping and tax for hostess benefits. Basically, the greater the workshop total, the greater the benefits!
The success of the club depends on the members. You must commit to the full term of the club.
