I love that this card, it is multiply purpose, use for a Patriotic Card, a birthday card, graduation or congratulations. I cut the base Cherry Cobbler Card stock at 4 ¼ x 11, Night of Navy 4 x 5 ¼, Whisper White 3 ¾ x 5, and then you will need some scraps of Night of Navy, Red Glimmer and Silver Glimmer.
Stamp the swirl in Night of Navy, center it in your Whisper White Card stock, and stamp. Stamp two of the double stars and stamp hoo – ray on your scrap of paper using Night of Navy. Punch out 5 stars from the Red Glimmer paper using the itty bitty star punch, punch out 3 silver glimmer stars using the same punch and stamp 2 Night of Navy stars using the same punch. Using the Star Framelits cut two Night of Navy Stars from the smallest star in the set. Used the second smallest to cut out your two Night of Navy Stars you stamped on your Whisper White Card stock. Punch out your Hoo – Ray words with your circle punch. Punch out Night of Navy with your scalloped circle punch.
As you can see, I randomly placed my stars on top of my swirl. Some of them I used dimensionals to pop and a few I just adhered directly to the card. I did pop up my scalloped circle greeting.
Inspired by Kathleen Wingerson and a card she created July 2014.
