Today, I thought I would share a little something about me. This past year when we moved here I came across boxes of albums from my childhood and I realized I have been scrapbooking for a very long time. Some went as far back as Middle School, but most were from High School. I know I have always had a thing for stamps for a very long time. I started buying Stampin Up in the mid 1990’s and then we went to Germany, and when I returned I found a Stampin’ Up demo and the rest is history! After many demo moved in and out of my life, I finally signed up to sell to myself, but that did not happen, my friends insisted that I hold classes. If I am honest with myself, I will tell you some of those first cards SUCKED so bad, I am not sure why they kept coming!
I love to stamp, it is my happy place, and I do love sharing stamping with others, I was not so sure about teaching stamping but I am glad that Gretchen W. and a few other friends strong armed me into having classes. Stamping has introduced me to new friends and kept me in contact with other friends just through stamping!
A few years before I left from Texas, I reintroduced a good friend of mine to stamping. I made her get out her old stuff and I showed her new stuff. I reminded her that it is just good old fashioned fun to stamp a card for a friend. This week, she reminded me why I do it all! Thank you Rebecca, I love the card you sent me and I miss my Texas girls! This post is because you reminded me of why I do what I do!
Thank you for the beautiful card!
